How it Works & Pricing
What is Lumina Equine Wellness?
How does it work ?
Think of it as high-end science meets mind-body connection for your horse.
1. At the heart of our approach is SCENAR˚ therapy, complemented by Myofascial Release and Red Light Therapy utilised for optimisation.
2. These sessions also create a relaxed and focused space for your horse, that also calms and boosts overall mood (wellness :)
---
1. SCENAR therapy is a non-invasive, drug-free electrotherapy treatment that uses computer-modulated electrical impulses to interact with the nervous system and encourage natural pain relief and the body’s natural responses to healing.
How It Works;
• Active Biofeedback: A SCENAR Therapy device measures the muscles electrical impedance and changes its impulses in real time based on the body's response.
• Nerve Stimulation: It mimics natural nerve signals to stimulate the central nervous system, prompting the release of neuropeptides and endorphins.
SCENAR produces both;
• Local effects by stimulating the skin, blood and muscle vessels.
• General influence by influencing nervous, endocrine and immune systems.
---
2. Time and connection are also invaluable to the wellness process of your horse. Our therapy creates a slowing down and focus, and connection between mind, body and human touch. We have found this to be a deeply positive bonus to the SCENAR therapy.

˚ SCENAR
SC – Self-Controlled the SCENAR device establishes a biofeedback link with the body when in use, constantly changing the properties of the applied electric impulses, in response to the measured reaction from the body.
EN – Energo-Neuro the effect of SCENAR is based on electric impulses of a specific shape; patterned after the natural nerve impulses of the body.
AR – Adaptive Regulator the SCENAR device not only provides direct therapeutic effect, but also activates the natural defences of the body.
